For Humans, By Humans, Among Humans
In this module we will expand our attention to "the human" beyond the user qua user. We want to consider multiple ways "human" can be centred in the design process. At the top level, we can identify three:
- design for human users: this is what we have been talking about so far
- design by human designers: here we will think about how what we are like as humans affects our work.
- design within human institutions: how does the arena in which our work takes place, various forms and levels of human social organization, affect what design?
