What do we mean "no in order to motives" with respect to macro patterns?
Another author does not make the point of saying that people can't try to create macro patterns but says they emerge even when people are not trying to. Can you contrast this thinker's version of "unintended consequences" or "collective irrationality emerging from individual rationality" with the more optimistic view of the first thinker?
