This is an example of a classic use of flow chart logic to describe a sorting process. Basically we are using two tests to create a 2x2 taxonomy (classification system). It might look like this

If pass test 1, then if pass test test then "promising" otherwise "troubling." On the other hand, if fail test 1 then if pass test 2 then "recalcitrant" otherwise "hopeless."
