When catalogs went online and functionally merged with the registration process many turned into ugly web renditions of the schedule of course day and meeting times. Gone was any attempt to use the listing of courses as an opportunity to convey the shape of the opportunities for intellectual development that the curriculum represents. But this need not be so.
