When you are "on seminar" your work in progress is fodder for the class discussion. You share a relevant penultimate draft and receive feedback from your classmates and your instructor.

Here's what you have to do

Share no more than 15 page section of your work in progress
A short article or paper that provides classmates with some necessary background
Prepare a 5 or fewer slide 5 minute presentation on the project
One slide should deal with research question and why this is social scientifically interesting
One slide should deal with connections to other courses, theories, etc.
The last slide should transition to "what I gave you to read for today and what feedback would be most helpful" (your document should also have communicated this).
