I just recently added the Design Thinking course to my schedule, and arriving to class on Thursday to be quickly immersed into the wallet project was very exciting for me. It didn't take long for me to understand the importance of creating a physical model after designing an idea. A lot of questions that I had about the logistics of my wallet were answered in the instant that I crafted a prototype. I also found great value in getting outside of myself and my own interests, and focusing on another person/'s to ultimately satisfy to the his needs. Often times when trying to help others, it can be easy to get stuck in an introspective state, which in turn, doesn't always do much to help the external world. Although I was only present for one segment of the project, I was nevertheless extremely inspired by it. I look forward to honing the skills necessary to not only speak my now-quiet ideas into their long-awaited existence, but also manifest them into physical beings.
