Preliminaries 1 - Wikidot

Wikidot is a richly featured wiki platform (used for this popUp Catalog application). It provides an easy to use web editing interface for wiki pages that can include arbitrary embedded HTML. To test HTML in a Wikidot page we simply surround the HTML code with the wiki tags [
] and [
], saying, "turn HTML on" and then "turn HTML off." If, for example, we type (don't worry if you don't understand the HTML at this point):

wiki [
]
html <h1>This is a Heading</h1>
html <p style="align: right;">A paragraph aligned on the right</p>
html <p style="align: center;">A paragraph aligned center</p>
html <p style="align: left;">A paragraph aligned on the left</p>
wiki [
]

what we see is

Let's begin, then, by creating a page on Wikidot and then setting it up as a personal sandbox. Name the page "Name's Sandbox" and include the following text in the page's edit box:

++++ My Leaflet GIS Work

[
]
<h3>Version 0.0</h3>
<p>Blah blah blah</p>
[
]

The result should render like this:

My Leaflet GIS Work
